What we collect
This site has no accounts, forms, payments or uploads.
- Page requests. Amazon Web Services (AWS) serves the pages through Amazon CloudFront and Amazon S3 and, like any web server, handles your IP address and request details to deliver them. We have not turned on access logs, so we keep no record of these requests.
- Email you send us. If you write to hello.invalid [at] clerkrow [dot] com, we use your address and message to answer you and keep the conversation for 365 days.
- Usage data, only if you allow analytics: the pages you view, the page that referred you, your approximate location derived from your IP address (which Google Analytics 4 does not store), your device and browser type, and a pseudonymous identifier kept in a first-party cookie. Collected by Google Analytics 4.
Email sent to hello.invalid [at] clerkrow [dot] com is received by Amazon SES. Each message is screened automatically for spam before anyone reads it, first by fixed rules and, where those cannot decide, by an AI model on Amazon Bedrock in the EU. A message judged to be spam is held back and not forwarded. All other mail is forwarded to the mailbox we answer from. A raw copy of every message, spam included, is stored in our AWS storage in Frankfurt and deleted after 30 days.
Legal basis
We serve this site and answer your email on the basis of our legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) of the General Data Protection Regulation).
Usage data collected through Google Analytics is processed only with your consent (Article 6(1)(a)). Storing and reading the analytics cookies on your device also relies on your consent under Article 4(5) of Romanian Law no. 506/2004. You can withdraw your consent at any time with Cookie settings in the footer, without affecting processing before the withdrawal.
Sharing
- Amazon Web Services (AWS), as our processor: Amazon CloudFront and Amazon S3 serve the pages, Amazon SES receives email sent to us, and Amazon Bedrock screens that email for spam.
- Google Ireland Limited (Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland), as our processor, provides Google Analytics, only if you allow it. Google Signals and ad personalisation are turned off.
We do not sell personal data and we do not share it for advertising.
Transfers outside the EU
If you allow analytics, Google LLC in the USA may process Google Analytics data as a sub-processor of Google Ireland Limited. That transfer is safeguarded by the EU-US Data Privacy Framework (Google LLC is certified) and by Standard Contractual Clauses.
Retention
- Email conversations: 365 days.
- Raw copy of inbound mail, spam included: 30 days.
- Google Analytics event data: 14 months, then deleted automatically.
Your rights
You have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to its processing, to receive it in a portable form and, where processing rests on your consent, to withdraw that consent at any time. To use these rights, email hello.invalid [at] clerkrow [dot] com.
NETBEARS TEAM SRL has not appointed a statutory Data Protection Officer, as our processing does not meet the mandatory thresholds. Data protection questions can be sent to hello.invalid [at] clerkrow [dot] com.
